There are students in MR/Athuraliya Maha Vidyalaya Who study dancing as a subject from grade6 to 11.Our school has been very imprement to the area due to excellent performances of the senior and junior western bands of the school.

An every year dance item on the theme of fisheries industry presented by a troop of dancers in the school won the first place at the zonal level and second place of the provincial level subsequently.The ability to play musical instruments was very obvious in the display of musical item by the students of the band.

While achieving highest standard in the G.C.E(O/L) exam in addition to presentation of items by the students of the school on various occasions.

We are extremely happy to have a set of students and their performances in a school located in a difficult remote village.
